What I Do
Communities In Schools of North Texas (CISNT) is an affiliate of the nation’s largest evidence-based dropout prevention program, which empowers and serves students, families, and campus communities across six North Texas school districts, equipping students with the tools they need to stay in school and achieve in life.
Last year, we provided over 34,000 students across three counties with wraparound support services; 99% of CISNT students stayed in school and advanced to the next grade level, and 98.2% of our seniors graduated. We provide academic, behavioral, mental health, and basic need support for students identified as at risk of dropping out and believe that relationships with caring adults positively impact change in students' lives. The support of our community is vital in carrying out our mission to foster lasting, collective, meaningful change in our North Texas!
